HOW TO AVOID MONOTONY

                                HOW TO AVOID MONOTONY

Summary:
this chapter is about how to balance the simplicity. In this chapter, I learnt how to take sentence so repetitious and short that they were annoying the reader and transform them into longer sentence. It also explains how simplicity is vital that variety.

New things that I have learnt
·         Ways to avoid the monotony-Variety and emphasis
·         We can use the image as the actor, action, things acted upon, results of action
·         If words are simple and image are visual then the sentences can be longer
·         If words are difficult and image abstract, sentences must be short
·         Simplicity is always vital than variety.

Things that I already knew about, that were given
Repetition is the process of repeating important words, image each time again and again to hold our reader’s attention
Emphasis helps to make our reader to concentrate more on certain aspects
Emphasis allows us to shorten them

Concept applied to other subjects:
Our group did a ppt presentation on certain topic. At that time we dint know how should be a ppt presentation. What are the requirements etc. We used different design for different slides to make it unique. Concerned lecture told us to make it simple by using single design for all the slides. Variety is necessary but to make it more professional it should be simple.
